Kahli is a Chiropractor and Sports Medicine Australia Sports Trainer.
As a Chiropractor, Kahli’s philosophy is to help her patients establish an improved connection to their bodies, better understanding their limits and more importantly capabilities. As a healthcare practitioner Kahli has a strong emphasis on the diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of sporting injuries, postural complaints, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Kahli currently works with the Allambie Beacon Hill United Women’s Premier League, located on the Northern Beaches. At trainings and games, Kahli works to support the girls from little niggles through to traumatic injuries.
Kahli has previously worked across multiple sports with Brigidine College St Ives, as Head Coach for the Forest Lions Junior AFC, and the last several years as assistant coach for the Sydney Swans Junior Academy (Northern Beaches Hub).
The sports world has always been present throughout Kahli’s life, having been born into one of Australia's more notable sporting families. Growing up, Kahli was heavily involved in competitive Irish Dancing, holding both NSW and Australian Championship Titles, as well as competing internationally at the North American National Championships, and the World Irish Dance Championships in Dublin, Ireland.
Following her retirement from competitive Irish Dancing, a career for AFLW was pursued. With Kahli commencing her journey at her local Junior AFC and continuing through to the Sydney Women’s Premier League. Along her journey, playing with North Sydney Junior Representative teams, NSW U18 State team, the Inaugural U19 Sydney Swans Academy and finally the Sydney Swans AFLW Academy.
With her extensive sporting experience, Kahli has taken care of many injuries of her own. Understanding the frustration, disappointment and anxiety when injury arises, and the discipline, encouragement and belief needed throughout recovery. Therefore, Kahli utilises her professional knowledge, manual therapy skills and personal sporting experience to create a warm, trusting connection with her patients. She hopes that her patients can walk away from their interactions with improved awareness of their situation and the skills to better support themselves along their recovery journey.
